The City of Stockholm supports Are you Touched?

The City of Stockholm supports Morgondagens Konstpubliks project Are you Touched? initiated by choreographer Carima Neusser and visual artist Per Hüttner. The project brings together the myth of Sisyphus with contemporary research on interpersonal touch. Research shows that interpersonal touch is getting increasingly sparse in our everyday lives. This trend, in turn, creates social problems and pose a threat to human well-being. The current project brings together groups of young professional visual artists, choreographers, writers with practitioners in alternative medicine for a dozen workshops. Together they explore what artists from different genres can do together to make interpersonal contact more natural. They will also investigate how can artists find new ways to express themselves by working across genre boundaries by investigating human touch.
